Technical Coordination Directorate
Provides the expertise behind the policies, plans, regulations, standards and programmes in the sector's specialised fields: medical and dental, pharmacy, nursing and midwifery, public health and health promotion, and allied health.
Units
- Medical and dental
- Develops the policies, standards and regulations that promote clinical care across the country.
- Pharmacy
- Develops the policies, standards and regulations for the pharmaceutical industry: the production of medicines, their supply and distribution, their pricing, and access to quality medicines and medical devices for priorities such as antimicrobial resistance and non-communicable diseases.
- Nursing and midwifery
- Develops the policies and standards for nursing and midwifery.
- Public health and health promotion
- Develops the policies and standards for public health, health promotion, regenerative health and nutrition.
- Allied health
- Develops the policies and standards for the allied health professions.
