Provides the expertise behind the ministry's capital investment policies and standards, and the implementation of its national strategic programmes and projects.

Units

Capital investment and project management
Coordinates, supervises, monitors and evaluates every strategic national project of the health sector, reviews the capital investment plan and budget, assures quality and specifications, and advises on investment opportunities and funding.
Biomedical engineering
Manages the deployment of healthcare technology and the acquisition and upkeep of medical equipment, including installation, calibration, user support and training across the country.

The directorate reports to the Chief Director. All directorates.
